PRXNE 2019: The Future Is Now - Skills for 2019 and Beyond

Registration Closes on Sunday, June 2! Each year, the PRSA Northeast District brings together more than 200 communications professionals from across the northeastern United States for a one-day conference exploring the newest technologies and practices to emerge in the field of public relations. Marketing, social media, public relations, advertising – you do it all. Your role as a communicator is constantly evolving, the mediums we use to tell our stories are changing faster, and the lines between these functions are even less clear. All while you’re expected to do so much more with much less. This year we're headed to Providence, home of the Southeastern New England Chapter, and we're focused on answering the question, "Wait, we can do that?!" Yes, we can. The day-long conference will feature presentations on the newest and coolest tools of the trade to make all PR professionals' -- corporate, non-profit, agency and sole practitioners -- jobs a little easier and a lot more exciting.  Pre-Conference Event: As a unique complimentary dining option for our conference attendees, we have reserved Aqua, Providence Marriott’s poolside lounge, the evening before the conference from 6pm – 9pm. With Providence being a nationally acclaimed food hub, experience a “Taste of Rhode Island” as the menu will include selections of light and heavy hor’s doeuvres, a classic RI dessert and cash bar. You do not have to be staying at the hotel to attend the event, but space is limited. Must be 21 years of age to attend. UPDATE! We'll also be joined throughout Thursday evening by Lilit Marcus - writer and editor for CNN Travel and author of Save the Assistants: A Guide for Surviving and Thriving in the Workplace. Lilit will give a brief, informal presentation about her current role and experiences starting at 7pm.
